Descriptive Thought 1

I’m going to construct a scene for you to envision within your mind, usually this is done with voice, but I’ve decided to do it through text, but I shall still write it as if I was talking to you.

It is the end of the day. You have sat within the confines of your cubical for what feels like an eternity to you. The walls of your cubical are filled with notes, papers, scattered funny comics which you have posted, along with various other items you have put up upon the walls of your cubical. Your desk is a complete wreck, having morphed into its current state over the day due to the large amount of paper work you had to complete, forms, memos, etc. Here and there you see the remainder of your lunch, a pile of stray wrappers sitting to your left and a rather large, albeit empty, soft drink to your right. Luckily for you, you got the corner window spot of the building, for you can see the orange glow of the sunset lighting upon your cubical’s workspace, giving you warm greetings and farewells. You decided to turn around to catch a glimpse its passage before it completely disappears from sight and you are greeted by a most spectacular sight, one you have always enjoyed marveling at from when you got this particular spot within the building. As you turn, you see the cityscape spread out before you, miles after miles, after miles of buildings of all shapes and sizes. You are on the 72nd floor of the building, one of the floors that offers the greatest view, although the elevator ride is always a slight pain. You are not in the center of the city, no you are more on the outskirts of the main scene. The cityscape within your view is encased within the suns orange glow, almost as if it was ablaze, a last fond stroke from a painters fine brush upon his/her painting. You sit there and watch the sun make its way below the horizon, enjoying its final passage through the day. Once its face has finally slipped behind the buildings you turn back to your paper work and check the time, thankfully its time to punch out. You gather your things from your wreck of a desk, trying to semi-organize it into an orderly form of chaos, only slightly succeeding in your task, creating a couple of neat piles to sift through. Grabbing your coat and your other belongings you head to the elevator which is on the other side of the forest of cubical’s, it takes you almost 5 min to get there. You enter the elevator, its soft, familiar, and yet boring music greeting you as you commence your journey home.

I hope you all enjoy it :)

Thought 2

You know, after looking at the overall state of humanity as is, I’ve come to the realization that as a whole, human society has become EXTREMELY detached from everything…

Thought 1

nothing requires a reason, its humans that need to give it a reason so that they may not have to contemplate a world filled with chaos and disorder…
